Development work emphasized finance-focused application components within the SAP landscape and associated products, promoting best practice and standardized report delivery across the finance function.
Integrations included SAP-ECC, Magnitude, Prophix, Excel and other integrated solutions, with the Data Warehouse acting as the reporting and consolidation layer that aggregated transactional and planning data for finance consumption. The implementation supported both business as usual developments and discrete project rollouts, with the finance team and selected 3rd party consultants collaborating on enhancements and delivery.
Governance and operational practices were formalized through a finance-led centre of excellence that prepared and maintained SAT and UAT test scripts, executed SAP testing during SD deployments, and stored test artifacts in HPQC. The team produced FI/CO training documentation, delivered training to finance users, and drove continuous improvement in application use, skills development and cross-functional collaboration to align systems and finance processes.
