In 2017 OfficeMax New Zealand deployed Pronto XI ERP as an ERP Financial solution to centralize quoting, order capture, and freight calculation for its retail operations. The implementation acted as a core component of the Responding To Customer programme of work aimed at accelerating quotation and order processing.
Pronto XI ERP was configured with a bespoke Freight Calculator module embedded in the ERP Financial environment to automate rate calculation and reduce manual handling for quotations and sales orders. The project also redesigned quote generation within Pronto XI ERP to include product imagery and easier output of customer-facing quotes, and it introduced controls to reduce non-coded products in the catalog.
The deployment included a point to point integration between Pronto XI ERP and Salesforce CRM to ensure orders and quotes created in Pronto XI ERP flowed into Salesforce CRM without duplication of effort. Operational scope covered sales quoting, order management, and logistics workflows across both Direct Ship and Distribution Centre models, aligning inventory and fulfillment orchestration with sales and customer service teams.
Governance was led by a Senior Project Manager who ran the Responding To Customer programme from Aug 2017 to Aug 2018, overseeing configuration, process redesign, and integration testing. Explicit outcomes reported during rollout included reduced turnaround time for quotations and sales orders, elimination of duplicated order entry between Pronto XI ERP and Salesforce CRM, and a reduction in non-coded products.

In 2020, OfficeMax New Zealand implemented SnapHire ATS, an Applicant Tracking System, on its public careers site to centralize external hiring. The implementation routes candidate applications from the careers portal directly into SnapHire, establishing the ATS as the primary intake point for external talent.
The SnapHire ATS deployment covers core applicant tracking capabilities typical of the category, including job requisition publishing, online application forms, configurable candidate pipelines, staged interview workflows and candidate profile management. OfficeMax configured role based access for HR users and hiring managers to manage requisitions, review candidates and progress applicants through defined hiring stages.
Integrations are centered on the company careers front end, where applications are captured and persisted in the SnapHire ATS database to create a single source of candidate truth for HR and talent acquisition. Operational coverage focuses on corporate HR and store level recruiting workflows, consolidating vacancy management and candidate tracking inside the SnapHire platform.
Governance emphasized standardized vacancy creation and approval workflows, formalized recruiter and hiring manager responsibilities, and the use of pipeline stages and status updates to drive consistent hiring operations. SnapHire ATS is used by OfficeMax New Zealand to support its talent acquisition and HR functions, and the full application name SnapHire ATS and the Applicant Tracking System classification are embedded in the recruitment architecture.

In 2017, OfficeMax New Zealand implemented Pronto Xi Asset and Facility Management as part of a program of Pronto Xi enhancements, the implementation is recorded under the Asset Performance Management category. The deployment was delivered under a program called Responding To Customer and was managed by a Senior Project Manager from August 2017 to August 2018, linking asset and facility capabilities to broader commercial and logistics workflows.
Pronto Xi Asset and Facility Management was configured to support typical asset performance management functions including asset lifecycle tracking, maintenance scheduling, and facilities work order orchestration, aligned with retail store and distribution center operational needs. Concurrent ERP configuration work included a Freight Calculator implemented within Pronto to accelerate quotation and sales order turnaround, a redesign of customer quote generation to include product imagery, and efforts to reduce non coded products.
Integration work explicitly tied Pronto ERP transactional processes to Salesforce CRM, ensuring order and quote data flowed from Pronto ERP to Salesforce CRM with no duplication of effort. The implementation covered two logistics models, Direct Ship and Distribution Centre, and integrated quoting and order capture with asset and facility workflows to maintain consistency between commercial transactions and operational execution.
Governance for the rollout was program driven, with a named Senior Project Manager overseeing process improvements across logistics and quoting workflows, and with configuration and integration tasks sequenced alongside asset and facility management setup. The project notes a specific outcome of reduced non coded products and smoother quote to order handoff between Pronto ERP and Salesforce CRM.
