In 2015, OILFIELD STEEL SUPPLY implemented Invera Stratix ERP. The Invera Stratix ERP deployment was positioned as the company core Manufacturing ERP supporting distribution inventory control and financial management, replacing Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise for integrated accounting and operational workflows.
Stratix ERP was configured to support inventory management, order processing, purchasing, accounts payable and general ledger functions typical for a Manufacturing ERP in a distribution business. Implementation included a designated system administrator for Stratix ERP software, role based security and centralized master data for items and customers to align warehouse and finance processes.
The deployment operated across the companys U.S. distribution and warehouse operations, covering finance, purchasing, and operations teams for the 50 employee organization. Stratix was implemented alongside a DocuWare ECM application, with a system administrator responsible for DocuWare, and the two systems were used together for transactional document storage and retrieval to streamline document handling and auditability.
