In 2017, OMD UK deployed the Bright Analytics Platform to centralize data from multiple marketing platforms and build bespoke reporting and analytics frameworks for agency clients. The implementation positioned OMD to leverage Analytics and BI capabilities to deliver consolidated campaign and channel performance views for media and marketing teams.
The Bright Analytics Platform was configured to deliver automated data pipelines and a semantic modelling layer that standardized metrics and dimensions across sources, enabling scalable client facing reporting and large scale dashboarding. Functional configurations inferred from the deployment include orchestration of ingest processes, a unified semantic model for metric governance, and dashboarding and scheduled report delivery to client teams.
Data centralization aggregated cross channel campaign, media and audience signals into the Bright Analytics Platform, feeding dashboards and exportable reports used by media planning, buying and account teams across the UK agency. The deployment integrated into existing agency reporting workflows to provide a single source of truth for performance and attribution analysis.
Governance centered on the semantic model and standardized metric definitions, with a phased rollout across agency client portfolios to enforce consistent reporting practices. The result was faster, more consistent performance insights for media and marketing teams and scalable client facing reporting driven by the Bright Analytics Platform.

In 2021, OMD deployed MadNetwork, a Blockchain Platform, to support a Dixan activation trafficked by OMD Italy. The activation ran through the MadHive DSP and used the MadNetwork integration with the AdLedger CryptoRTB protocol to provide provenance and reduce fraud during the live campaign.
The implementation emphasized provenance assurance and CryptoRTB real time bidding capabilities within MadNetwork, configured to preserve low latency in auction flows and to operate within campaign-level privacy controls. Functional capabilities focused on provenance validation, real time bidding orchestration, and auditability consistent with blockchain based advertising protocols.
Integrations were explicit to the MadHive DSP and the AdLedger CryptoRTB protocol, embedded into OMD Italy trafficking and campaign management workflows. Operational scope was agency level in Italy, impacting marketing and advertising functions during the Dixan activation.
Governance and traffic operations were managed by OMD Italy, with processes aligned to privacy compliance and minimal latency requirements during the live rollout. The agency reported KPI success for the activation while maintaining provenance and reduced fraud as core operational objectives.
