In 2020, Omni Logistics implemented Amazon WMS on Amazon Web Services as a cloud-first Warehouse Management deployment to centralize warehouse operations and enable real-time analytics. The program migrated 75 plus servers and more than 50 applications to AWS and was delivered with system integrator BizCloud Experts, with the move intended to reduce technical debt and improve reliability across the companys fulfillment systems.
The Amazon WMS implementation encompassed core Warehouse Management capabilities including inventory control, inbound receiving and putaway, picking and packing workflows, order fulfillment orchestration, and returns processing. Configuration emphasized a centralized, cloud-native operational model to support real-time telemetry and analytics across distributed warehouse sites, while standardizing functional workflows for inventory accuracy and fulfillment throughput.
Integrations were scoped around on-AWS TMS and fulfillment application workloads that moved with the program, enabling consolidated operational data flows and analytics across transportation and warehouse functions. The deployment covered Omni Logistics warehousing and fulfillment operations within its global third party logistics footprint and linked operational teams and IT through shared AWS-hosted services and data stores.
Operational governance and rollout were executed with BizCloud Experts coordinating the migration and cutover, establishing consolidated monitoring, uptime SLAs, and platform management on AWS. The engagement delivered an approximate 35 percent reduction in operational cost and achieved roughly 99.9 percent uptime, outcomes reported as improving scalability and reliability for Omni Logistics warehouse and fulfillment operations.
