In 2015 SUNY Onondaga Community College implemented Ellucian Colleague CRM Recruit for Admissions and Enrollment Management to formalize prospect intake and outreach. The deployment placed the Ellucian Colleague CRM Recruit instance into operational use by the Office of Student Recruitment and supporting staff, with explicit coverage of recruitment activities for Onondaga, Madison, and Cayuga counties as well as outreach into Rochester and Buffalo, New York.
The implementation emphasized prospect identification and tracking, caseload management, and multi channel communications workflows. Ellucian Colleague CRM Recruit was configured to support telephone, written and email touchpoints, live chat, social messaging and SMS style engagement, as well as event scheduling for visit days, information sessions, campus tours and open house coordination. Configuration also supported management oversight of the Student Ambassador Program, including interview, training and scheduling workflows, plus the creation and distribution processes for recruitment publications.
Governance and operational use centered on the Office of Student Recruitment and recurring cross campus committees such as the Open House and Health Professions Information Session groups. The system centralized prospect records and formalized outreach and event workflows used by recruitment staff and campus liaisons, embedding Ellucian Colleague CRM Recruit into daily recruiting operations and candidate engagement processes.
