In 2021, Openly implemented Majesco CloudInsurer, deploying Majesco Billing for P&C as its Insurance ERP billing platform. The U.S.-based insurtech selected Majesco Billing for P&C to provide flexible direct and installment-based billing and to deliver a modern customer and agent experience.
Implementation focused on billing lifecycle capabilities inside Majesco Billing for P&C, with configuration of billing schedules, installment plans, invoicing orchestration, and customer and agent billing interfaces. Workstreams prioritized rapid product onboarding and configurable product delivery to support frequent product launches and policy changes consistent with an insurance ERP billing module.
The deployment leveraged the Majesco CloudInsurer cloud SaaS architecture, enabling a same-year live deployment under the insurtech SaaS model. Operational coverage included billing operations, product management, customer service, and agent channels across Openly's U.S. operations, with the application positioned as a core component of the insurer's billing and customer engagement stack.
Governance established centralized billing rule oversight and product configuration change control to manage rollout cadence and maintain billing consistency.
