| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics GP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2011 | 2011 |
In 2011, OpenTable implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP as an ERP Financial application to centralize core accounting, close processes, and cross-border financial operations. The deployment focused on Finance and Accounting activities for the corporate entity and international branches, with documented support for Japan, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Germany. The implementation supported a corporate finance organization sized to service a company with roughly 1,500 employees and $600,000,000 in revenue.
Microsoft Dynamics GP was configured to manage general ledger processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, deferred revenue accounting, intercompany transactions, accruals, liabilities, and prepaid expense workflows. Teams used the system for posting journal entries and performing reconciliations across cash, AP, AR, deferred revenue, intercompany, accrual and prepaid accounts. The month-end close cadence included a defined soft close target by the third business day, and the team produced monthly fluctuation analyses as part of recurring close activities.
The implementation included named system integrations and cross-system processes, explicitly linking payroll processing in ADP for the Japan branch and expense auditing in CONCUR for international entities. Payroll journal entries sourced from ADP were posted into Microsoft Dynamics GP, while audited CONCUR expenses for the U.K., Germany, Japan and Mexico were validated and recorded in the ERP Financial ledger. Accounts payable, payroll and expense reimbursement processing extended operational coverage for Japan and Mexico, and finance staff coordinated with outside CPA firms on tax estimates for Mexico.
Governance and control activities were embedded in the operating model, with the finance team supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end close cycles, responding to internal and external audit requests including Big Four audits, and assisting outside firms on statutory audits and annual tax filings for the Japan branch. Close governance included documented fluctuation reporting and reconciliations to support audit requests, and routine posting of journal entries and account reconciliations within Microsoft Dynamics GP. This configuration established consolidated accounting workflows, cross-border posting rules, and an audit-ready recordkeeping approach for international financial operations.

| Zoom Video Communications | Legacy | Zoom Chat (ex Solvvy) | Chatbots and Conversational AI | AI-Powered Application | n/a | 2005 | 2005 |
In 2005, OpenTable implemented Zoom Chat (ex Solvvy) on its public website, deploying the Chatbots and Conversational AI application to support customer service and guest experience workflows. The deployment uses Zoom Video Communications' Zoom Chat (ex Solvvy) as the customer-facing conversational interface, surfaced on web pages where reservation and guest assistance interactions occur.
Zoom Chat (ex Solvvy) was configured to provide core conversational capabilities typical for Chatbots and Conversational AI, including natural language understanding, intent classification, knowledge base driven FAQ automation, templated response generation, and handoff triggers for human intervention. The implementation emphasized self-service workflows and automated triage, with conversation analytics and logging to inform ongoing training and content refinement.
Operationally the solution is scoped to the public website and supports customer support and guest experience functions rather than internal HR or finance systems. Governance and operational ownership are centered on service and digital experience teams, who manage knowledge content, training data, and escalation rules while using analytics outputs to iterate on conversation flows.
