In 2015, Opteamix implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its core ERP Financial system to centralize financial and service delivery accounting for its professional services business in the United States. The deployment focused on delivering a cloud native financial backbone to support sales led revenue processes and professional services project accounting across finance, sales, and delivery teams.
Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to provide standard ERP Financial capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, order to cash, project accounting, time and expense management, and contract billing tied to statements of work. Configuration emphasized support for SOW driven billing and revenue recognition workflows, and explicit time sheet and expense controls referenced in company sales and delivery practices.
Operationally the implementation integrated NetSuite into day to day sales and delivery processes, using NetSuite as the company sales tracking system for pipeline updates, booking administration, and approval of client contracts and SOW terms. The system was instrumented to enforce timely updates to time sheets and expense accounts, and to surface contract terms for review by executives and legal during negotiation and SOW finalization.
Governance was established to align sales administration with finance, with formalized account plans and sales tracking inputs feeding billing and project accounting. Rollout emphasis was on embedding NetSuite driven workflows into sales and professional services operations, and on using Oracle NetSuite ERP to centralize financial controls and contract to cash orchestration.
