Volgistics Legacy Volgistics VicNet Volunteer Management HCM n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Oregon Museum Of Science & Industry implemented Volgistics VicNet as its central Volunteer Management platform for volunteer operations. The deployment included Volgistics VicTouch as part of the overall Volgistics suite and targeted the museum’s HR and volunteer management function in Portland, Oregon. The implementation configured Volgistics VicNet to support core volunteer workflows, explicitly recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and background screening for approximately 1,500 volunteers. VicTouch was provisioned to streamline on-site check in and shift management, while Volgistics VicNet centralized volunteer records, availability, and role assignments to improve operational scheduling and roster visibility. Volgistics VicNet was integrated with Verified First for background screening, and the integration is reported to produce a 67% reduction in background-check processing time and faster onboarding. Governance was organized around a centralized volunteer database and standardized screening and onboarding workflows managed by the HR/volunteer management team, with rollout focused on operationalizing scheduling and screening processes across volunteer programs.
