Order management, point of sale and call center applications remained as separate systems, while distribution center operations were directly supported by the Oracle and WMOS connection to ensure inventory accuracy and replenishment orchestration. Operational governance was organized around distribution center management, with a management team of eight direct reports responsible for daily DC operations and for developing applications to meet ongoing business requirements. Process ownership emphasized finance to warehouse handoffs, inventory valuation controls and application-level change processes to sustain the Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial deployment.

The implementation covered HR, payroll, talent acquisition and store operations teams and centralized transactional HR processes under the Core HR application. Governance focused on centralized HRIS configuration control, role based access, change management and phased rollout with training to align HR and recruitment workflows to the new system. Ceridian Dayforce HCM was positioned to provide consistent employee lifecycle management across Orvis while consolidating HR operational processes into a governed Core HR environment.
