Oracle Legacy Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2011 2019
In 2011 Oshman Family JCC implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to support ERP Financial operations across its finance organization. The deployment centered on Accounts Payable and core financial workflows, bringing vendor payment processing and expense accounting into the Oracle NetSuite ERP environment. Configuration focused on Accounts Payable controls and transaction coding, including charging expenses to correct departmental accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and expense reports, and recording accounting entries inside NetSuite. Operational tasks implemented in the system included W-9 vendor data management, weekly check run generation subject to CFO approval and signature, preparation of annual 1099 filings, monthly reconciliation of approximately 30 credit card expenses by matching receipts to statements, and monthly petty cash reconciliation. The Oracle NetSuite ERP installation supported operational coverage for Accounts Payable, the Controller, and the Chief Financial Officer, and was used for month end close activities such as accruals, journal entries, bank reconciliations and allocations. The system was the repository for AP records and vendor data, and it was used to retrieve documentation during the annual audit, reflecting integration of daily AP operations with broader financial close and audit workflows. Governance and process work accompanied the technical deployment, with the organization developing, implementing and enforcing AP policies and procedures and educating staff. The AP department was led and trained by a manager responsible for two full time staff and on-call temporary staff, supervising maintenance and filing of AP records and working with the finance team to resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft 365 Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2015 2015
In 2015 Oshman Family JCC implemented Microsoft 365 to provide Collaboration capabilities across its 400 person non profit organization. The initiative positioned Microsoft 365 as the central collaboration platform to support membership services, program administration, volunteer coordination, and internal communications. The Microsoft 365 deployment emphasized cloud hosted productivity and collaboration capabilities, including enterprise email and calendaring, document collaboration and version control, and real time communication and meetings. Microsoft 365 was configured to surface shared document libraries, team workspaces, and cloud file sync to support staff and program teams, with tenant level administration controlling access and retention settings. Using Microsoft 365 on their website is an explicit part of the footprint, with the organization surfacing calendar items, program information, and document access tied to the Microsoft 365 tenant. This web integration aligns the public facing site with internal content management and member engagement workflows provided by Microsoft 365. Operational governance centered on centralized tenant administration and role based permissions for staff and program managers, accompanied by policy controls for external sharing and data access. Rollout and operational coverage focused on core departments such as membership, programs, development, finance, and operations, with training and admin processes instituted to manage adoption of Microsoft 365 Collaboration features.
