In 2007 Our Lady of Fatima University implemented Oracle E-Business Suite - Fixed Assets under the Enterprise Asset Management category. The deployment was executed on-site in the Philippines as part of an Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10.2 Financials stack supporting university accounting and asset control. The implementation centered on the Oracle E-Business Suite - Fixed Assets module and was delivered alongside Oracle Financials components including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cash Management, with Purchasing implemented for university procurement workflows. Fixed Assets configuration focused on asset master data, capitalization and depreciation schedules, asset transfers and reconciliation processes to support statutory and internal accounting requirements. Integrations were implemented between Fixed Assets and core financial modules to enable automated journal generation and cost accounting flows, and between Fixed Assets and Purchasing to associate procured items with asset records. Operational coverage included finance and procurement departments across the university and the Fatima University Medical Center site, aligning acquisition, capitalization and accounting workflows. Governance and rollout were supported by a Senior Oracle Functional Consultant from Active Business Solutions, Inc. who provided on-site configuration and functional support beginning in 2007 with continued support documented through February 2010. Governance activities emphasized configuration controls, asset accounting process definition and formal handover to university finance teams.
