In 2014, Outbrain implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to support its corporate accounting and global finance operations. Oracle NetSuite ERP was deployed as the company ERP Financial system to centralize general ledger, intercompany accounting, consolidations, and financial reporting for an organization operating in 55 countries with offices in 18 cities.
The implementation focused on core ERP Financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and global consolidations, plus reporting and analytics capabilities to support US GAAP reporting. Configuration work reflected a multi-entity legal structure and multi-currency processing, with automated close workflows and role based access controls to segregate duties and support SOX requirements.
Operational integrations and coverage included direct alignment with FP&A, Tax, Procurement, Legal, and IT to ensure transactional detail and financial data transparency across corporate accounting and regional finance teams. The Oracle NetSuite ERP instance served as the primary source for monthly and quarterly financial close activities and provided the transactional detail required by finance staff to analyze variances and support external auditors.
Governance and process changes centered on strengthening the monthly close cadence, owning and enhancing intercompany accounting processes, and codifying journal entry review and support documentation to meet external audit and SOX expectations. The rollout emphasized finance process ownership, training for staff to troubleshoot and analyze ERP transactional detail, and standardized global consolidation workflows to enable consistent corporate reporting.

In 2017 Outbrain planned a migration of its research Hadoop/Spark cluster to Google Cloud Dataproc. The migration to Google Cloud Dataproc, executed starting January 2018, placed the deployment squarely in the Analytics and BI category to support data science and research analytics workloads.
The implementation centered on running Spark research jobs on managed Dataproc clusters with autoscaling enabled and use of preemptible nodes to optimize cost and capacity. Google Cloud Dataproc hosted ephemeral clusters for interactive and batch research workloads, enabling researchers to spin up Spark runtimes and scale compute independently from storage.
Operational scope focused on Outbrain research and data science teams, with a noted acceleration of research project turnaround in Israel. The migration reduced infrastructure costs by approximately 40 percent, an outcome recorded during the post migration period.
Implementation and rollout were driven by DoiT International, which led configuration, provisioning, and operational handoff beginning January 2018 after late 2017 planning. Governance emphasized cloud cost controls and autoscaling policies for Dataproc clusters, aligning platform configuration with research analytics workflows and operational ownership by the data science organization.

| Legacy | Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) | Collaboration | Collaboration | n/a | 2011 | 2011 |
In 2011, Outbrain began using Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) as its Collaboration platform. Google Workspace (Formerly Google G-Suite) powers core productivity and collaboration functions for Outbrain, supporting corporate email, document co authoring, conferencing, and calendaring across the organization of about 1,016 employees.
Deployment includes standard Google Workspace modules such as Gmail for messaging, Google Drive for file storage, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides for collaborative authoring, Google Calendar for scheduling, and Google Meet for video meetings. Administrative configuration is centered on the Google Workspace Admin console, enabling domain provisioning, user and group management, role based access controls and organizational unit structures aligned to corporate teams.
Public evidence in Outbrain's website source shows active Google Workspace usage tied to corporate domains, indicating broad provisioning of the Collaboration platform rather than isolated pilots. Governance emphasizes centralized identity and access management within Google Workspace, policy enforcement through admin settings, and consolidation of collaboration tooling to support employee productivity and cross functional communication.
