Workday Legacy Workday Financial Management ERP Financial ERP n/a 2022 2023
In 2022, Palace Entertainment implemented Workday Financial Management to centralize ERP Financial capabilities across corporate finance and park-level operations. The deployment targeted finance functions that support a portfolio of 8 theme parks, 9 water parks, 4 family entertainment centers, and 5 lodging facilities, aligning corporate reporting with park operational finance. Configuration work centered on core financial modules within Workday Financial Management, including revenue and sales reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash control, general ledger for P&L and cost of sales, purchasing, inventory, and receiving. The implementation incorporated configured revenue recognition workflows as part of a company-wide initiative to streamline revenue recognition and standardize month-end reporting across sites. A key integration signal was a point of sale to ERP integration, feeding daily sales and cash reconciliation data from park POS systems into Workday Financial Management. The program retained existing finance technical systems during cutover and parallel operations, while park system administrators and corporate finance led the POS integration and transactional feed orchestration. Governance was organized through a park finance support model combined with corporate oversight, with the Director of Park Support Services functioning as the day-to-day finance support resource for park departments and leading the revenue recognition and integration effort. Operational ownership and workflow changes focused on unifying sales reporting, cash office controls, AP and AR processes, and purchasing across park and corporate finance teams.

Workday Ceridian Dayforce HCM Workday HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2022 2023
In 2022 Palace Entertainment began migrating from Ceridian Dayforce HCM to Workday HCM for its Core HR function. The initiative ran alongside ongoing administration of Ceridian Dayforce HCM and targeted the companys full employee lifecycle for roughly 11,000 seasonal and full time employees across approximately 25 theme and water parks plus the corporate office. Workday HCM deployment work centered on worker data management, onboarding document updates, position and pay rate change transactions, and user security provisioning. The implementation included focused data conversion activities, pre go live data cleansing, end user training, and change management to align Core HR processes and maintain continuous payroll reporting support. Integrations and operational coverage were limited to explicitly stated connections, notably communication of benefit eligibility changes with a third party benefit administrator and collaborative support for the payroll team through report development, automated processes and analytical support. Operational scope encompassed field HR functions at park sites and centralized HR guidance from the corporate office, supporting BLS, Census and other statutory reporting workflows as well as ACA eligibility remeasurement. Governance and process restructuring emphasized confidential data protection and automated controls, with ongoing implementation of routine metadata monitoring to cultivate data integrity. The HRIS administrator role included direct user support, employee security and password management, and preparation of employee data for government and legal discovery requests, sustaining compliance and operational continuity during the Workday HCM rollout.

Adobe Systems Legacy Adobe Acrobat Sign (formerly EchoSign, eSign & Adobe Sign) Digital Signing Content Management n/a 2021 2021
In 2021, Palace Entertainment implemented Adobe Acrobat Sign (formerly EchoSign, eSign & Adobe Sign) as a Digital Signing solution on its website. The deployment embeds Adobe Acrobat Sign into customer-facing web flows to capture legally binding electronic signatures and to manage agreement initiation and completion directly on public pages. The implementation leverages Adobe Acrobat Sign as a cloud-hosted signing service to surface embedded signing experiences and template-driven document delivery. Functional capabilities implemented align with standard Digital Signing workflows, including template-based documents, configurable form fields, identity verification options, and audit trail recording to support signature validity and compliance. Operational scope is focused on web-based guest interactions, enabling online consent and agreement capture as part of the site experience. Governance appears centered on administrative control of document templates, signing permissions, and retention of signing records within Adobe Acrobat Sign for auditability and recordkeeping.
