In 2018 Palmar Corporation deployed the SensiWatch Platform for Real-Time Transportation Visibility to instrument port operations at Puerto Bolívar and to centralize monitoring of export containers in Bladecon stockpiles and associated farms. The deployment was focused on operational visibility rather than a systems replacement narrative, and it supported daily port entry and exit control, preparation and distribution of consolidated weekly export container tables, and transactional inputs required by port operations staff.
SensiWatch Platform was configured to ingest temperature telemetry and geolocation from installed thermograph devices, and to surface yard-level inventory and container condition information through dashboards and reporting workflows. Configuration work centered on container temperature chart ingestion workflows specifically for MSC charts, device onboarding for Geo Eagle thermographers, and consolidated reporting that aligned with existing operational tasks such as seal management, anti-narcotics inspections, pre-shipment checks, and container withdrawal orders by booking.
The implementation integrated with Palmar operational systems, including transactional entries into the ORACLE system for gate cards and yard transactions, and coexisted with an Xsense System Monitoring stream that received Bt9 thermographer data. Operational data produced in SensiWatch Platform was used to populate weekly consolidated export container tables, to support email reporting routines, and to feed the procedural steps required for container delivery and inspection handling at the port.
Governance for the rollout emphasized operational handoffs and process mapping, using SensiWatch Platform outputs to standardize report preparation, email notifications, and the sequence of activities for seal delivery and pre-shipment inspections. Day to day users included port operations assistants responsible for AISV generation for Puerto Bolívar entries, temperature chart entry, and maintaining synchronized records between SensiWatch Platform and ORACLE for export container movement and documentation.
