Pannone deployed LawSoft in 2011 to centralise Court of Protection case handling and client records. LawSoft, a Legal Practice Management application, was implemented primarily in the Court of Protection department while supporting client communications and case administration across Pannone’s UK operations.
The deployment emphasized case and matter management modules, intake workflow configuration, and discovery and reporting capabilities based on the vendor description. LawSoft was used to centralise client data, standardise matter records, and instrument document discovery and reporting for COP caseloads.
Operational scope covered Court of Protection teams and adjacent client facing functions, aligning matter management and client communications across the firm’s UK sites. The LawSoft implementation supported end to end intake through ongoing case discovery processes and maintained consolidated case notes to improve cross team visibility.
Governance was organised around department level configuration and practice management oversight to standardise COP intake and discovery workflows, with configuration of reporting and access controls tailored to the Court of Protection function. Rollout and process changes focused on embedding consistent discovery and reporting procedures within existing legal workflows rather than large scale system to system integration.
Benefits were observed within a year, with improvements reported in internal processes and client communications. The LawSoft implementation provided a focused Legal Practice Management foundation for the Court of Protection business function at Pannone.
