| Sage | Legacy | Sage 500 ERP (formerly MAS 500) | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019 Papergraphics implemented Sage 500 ERP (formerly MAS 500) to formalize core financial and distribution processes, deploying a solution aligned with the ERP Financial category. The implementation targeted the companys multi-country operations and B2B ecommerce workflows, with operational scope that includes application centres in England, Scotland, Spain and The Netherlands and business functions in finance, inventory and order management.
Sage 500 ERP (formerly MAS 500) was configured to deliver core financial management, inventory control and order processing capabilities, with standard modules tuned for distributor pricing, cost of goods sold accounting and supplier invoicing. Configuration emphasized automation of order capture and inventory replenishment workflows, and catalog and pricing rules to support multi-channel commerce and international product launches.
The Sage 500 ERP deployment was integrated with Papergraphics B2B ecommerce platform to synchronize product listings, customer account data and order information, enabling ecommerce orders to flow into the ERP for fulfillment and financial posting. This integration underpins multi-channel commerce across the companys four application centres and supports centralized inventory visibility for distribution and large-format print supplies.
Governance changes centered on centralizing transactional processing in Sage 500 ERP, shifting customer service and sales teams from reactive order handling to proactive account management. Rollout and process changes established catalog governance, stock allocation rules and order handling workflows that connect front end ecommerce touchpoints with back end financial ledgers and inventory records.
The project explicitly aimed to free up human resources to be more proactive, increase cross selling and up selling, improve customer lifetime value and retention, accelerate product launches to wider audiences and help manage slower moving stock. These outcomes were cited by executive leadership as the rationale for the integrated ERP Financial and B2B ecommerce approach.
