Sage Legacy Sage Intacct ERP Financial ERP n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute implemented Sage Intacct as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment established Sage Intacct for core financial management across the nonprofit finance organization and served as the central ledger for procurement related accounting flows. PCORI analyzed and developed integration requirements from scratch and delivered integration processes connecting Determine Cloud platform DCP, Bill.com, and Sage Intacct. The work produced unidirectional integrations from Determine to Sage Intacct to move procurement and purchase order data into the financial ledger, and a bidirectional integration between Determine and Bill.com to synchronize vendor invoices and payment status. Implementation activities included vendor master mapping, invoice lifecycle orchestration, approval metadata propagation, and creation of accounting entry posting logic into Sage Intacct. The integrations were architected with standardized interfaces, error handling, and reconciliation touchpoints to support finance and procurement operations. Governance focused on defined data mappings and change control for integration processes, along with operational handoff to finance teams for monitoring and exception management.

Domo Legacy Domo Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2013 2018
In 2013 Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute implemented Domo as its Analytics and BI platform. The Domo deployment was executed during a broader IT build out where leadership created the IT department from scratch, established staffing plans, operational goals, policies, and assumed budget responsibility in excess of $15 million while managing 22 full time staff, consultants, and temporary resources. The implementation of Domo focused on enterprise reporting and visualization capabilities, leveraging dashboards, scorecards, and self service data access consistent with Analytics and BI functionality. Configuration work included data modeling and feed orchestration to surface metrics for grants and contracts management, stakeholder management, and multiple data collection systems that the organization was deploying concurrently. Domo was integrated into an ecosystem that included a custom built Data Warehouse and a set of operational systems implemented under the same program, specifically SalesForce.com, Foundation Connect, Fluxx, Office365, SharePoint Online, and Zendesk. These connections supported consolidated analytics and cross functional reporting across program, grants, and stakeholder operations. Governance for the Domo implementation was embedded in centralized IT oversight, with program management supervising project identification, planning, prioritization, requirements gathering, deployment, issue tracking, remediation, and longer term strategy. Responsibility for ongoing operational ownership was aligned to the IT organization that created the staffing plan and managed budget forecasting and execution.
