Operational governance covered automated maintenance schedules, with daily, weekly and monthly jobs for backups and consistency checks, and security hardening practices including transparent data encryption. The database team worked with application development teams during design and development SDLC phases to troubleshoot and resolve integrity, performance, blocking, deadlocking, replication, log shipping, connectivity and security issues. Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) was positioned as the centralized Analytics and BI platform for reporting, ETL and analytical semantic models.
