In 2024 Pediatric & Neonatal Specialists expanded its use of Greenway Health Prime Suite EHR and augmented its revenue operations by adding Greenway Medical Coding services and extending Greenway Revenue Services. The organization retained the Greenway Health Prime Suite EHR as its Electronic Health Record while broadening operational support to address charge capture, claims follow up, and patient financial workflows.
Implementation scope centered on Greenway Revenue Services Comprehensive, added in September 2023, and the later addition of Greenway Medical Coding in February 2024. Functional capabilities implemented include charge posting, submission management, patient accounts receivable management, patient call center operations, payment posting, insurance follow up, and the application of follow up reason codes FURCs. The Greenway Medical Coding team provides certified coding services aligned with AAPC and AHIMA standards to standardize coding accuracy and billing precision.
The deployment retained integration with existing Prime Suite EHR and accompanying practice management workflows, preserving clinical documentation while operationalizing revenue cycle activities through a shared platform. Operational coverage focused on the practice level, with dedicated revenue cycle advisory support, onsite engagements, and 24 by 7 assistance to clear backlogged claims and implement consistent charge capture and follow up procedures.
Governance and process transformation were driven by a named revenue cycle advisor who instituted best practice billing processes, regular advisory meetings, and targeted follow up workflows. Outcomes reported by the practice include a 60.4 percent decrease in days in A R, a 65.3 percent improvement in net charges, and a 61.5 percent reduction in 121 plus aging, and the practice was able to add a provider as billing capacity stabilized.
