In 2011, Pension Protection Fund began implementation of phase one of OpenText MBPM, a Business Process Management solution. Phase one was scoped to enable creation of new cases within the OpenText MBPM environment, establishing canonical case records and front-end intake flows. Pension Protection Fund worked with vendor OpenText on the initial deployment and configuration.
The implementation focused on core Business Process Management capabilities in OpenText MBPM, including case management, workflow orchestration, task assignment, and document capture and routing as part of the initial configuration. Operational coverage targeted PPF case handling and operational teams in the United Kingdom, with process models and data structures configured to support intake, lifecycle state transitions, and auditability. Governance followed a phased rollout approach, with phase one delivering case creation and foundational process models intended to be extended in later phases.
