In 2025, Peregrina-Stiftung implemented Peoplefone Microsoft Teams under the PBX, VoiP and Phone Systems category. UPGREAT AG installed the Peoplefone Microsoft Teams solution in early September 2025 to consolidate disparate Swisscom lines and an XPhone setup into Microsoft Teams integrated via peoplefone, modernizing telephony across multiple asylum accommodation sites in Switzerland and bringing IT and communications under a unified platform.
The deployment used centralized configuration and management aligned to Microsoft Teams identities and presence. Functional capabilities configured included centralized dial plan and call routing, user provisioning and role based phone assignment, voicemail and presence integration, and administrative controls for trunk and extension management. Standard PBX operational workflows such as inbound routing, hunt groups and attendant console workflows were established to support reception and frontline staff.
Integrations comprised peoplefone connectivity into Microsoft Teams together with consolidation of Swisscom carrier lines and XPhone endpoints, with UPGREAT AG managing the technical cutover. Operational coverage focused on multiple asylum accommodation sites in Switzerland and affected IT, communications, reception, and case management functions by centralizing administration.
