Governance and process changes were driven by the HR Mergers and Acquisitions function, which led due diligence, integration planning, and the development of an HR M&A playbook used to standardize payroll transition activities. The program emphasized coordinated handoff to local HR teams and HR business partners for ongoing payroll support, management of new hire and retention offer workflows, and alignment of payroll communications and training following acquisition integration.

This coordination established practical interfaces between asset management processes and procurement or financial transaction workflows.
Governance and process controls were formalized through a Move-Add-Change Process to preserve data integrity, supplemented by continuous inventory checks and accountable ownership for closing completed service orders. The deployment embedded operational controls into instrument lifecycle governance and day to day service operations at the Thousand Oaks laboratory.
