In 2024 Phiten implemented Kinjiro WFM also marketed as Universal 勤次郎 to centralize headquarters and 150+ store attendance operations across Japan. The deployment targeted Workforce Management for HR and 勤怠管理, providing smartphone access to employees to accelerate adoption and standardize time and attendance capture between retail sites and corporate headquarters.
The Kinjiro WFM implementation consolidated attendance records and automated routine timekeeping tasks, while delivering configurability to respond to changes in labor law and internal rules. Governance and process changes centralized operational oversight at headquarters, standardized shift and attendance workflows across stores, and reduced month end closing workload according to the vendor case study, positioning Kinjiro WFM as the core Workforce Management system for Phiten’s HR and attendance operations.
