In 2016 Piaggio India implemented TravelGrid Invoice Management, targeting travel and accounts payable processes for Piaggio Vehicles in India. The deployment positioned TravelGrid Invoice Management within the AP Automation category to centralize travel requests, expense reporting and invoice creation while linking operational travel workflows to finance.
The implementation configured travel request authorizations, automated expense report submission and validation, invoice generation and automatic posting to SAP FICO. The platform applied approval workflow routing and expense policy enforcement to speed approvals and reduce manual expense report handling.
