Oracle Sage 300 ERP (formerly Accpac) Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP Financial ERP n/a 1999 2000
In 1999, Pontiac Land Group Singapore implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its ERP Financial system, replacing Sage 300 ERP. The deployment centralized core finance functions for the company and established Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as the primary accounting backbone for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger activities. The implementation configured Accounts Payable workflows with 2-way and 3-way matching controls, Accounts Receivable processes for residential rent collections and lease maintenance, and Fixed Assets accounting for property disposals and register maintenance. Recurring payment workflows were configured to shift recurring supplier payments to Giro payments, and the system supported petty cash processing, staff claims handling and specialized payments for company directors and families. Operational coverage included the finance and property management teams responsible for two condominiums and two strata townhouses, with month end closing routines, aging report monitoring, bank reconciliations and inter-company billings executed through the JD Edwards accounting modules. The Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne implementation was used to maintain audit schedules and to liaise with internal and external auditors on compliance matters, while the finance team also managed tenant communications and lease database updates through the same system. Governance and process controls centered on KPI-driven payment processing and monthly AP and AR closing cycles, with staff training and supervision embedded in operational rollout. A stated outcome from the deployed payment workflows was a reduction in manual cheque processing of 30 percent after switching recurring payments to Giro payments.
