In 2022 Port City Logistics implemented the Turvo Visibility Platform as part of a push to support projected growth, deploying the solution to establish Real-Time Transportation Visibility across its coastal operations. The deployment focused on the Port of Savannah in the United States and targeted visibility gaps in drayage and warehouse interfaces to support rapid regional expansion.
The implementation configured Turvo's Collaboration Cloud and TMS modules to provide end-to-end visibility, truck tracking, and documentation tracking. Functional capabilities brought online included drayage management, warehouse inventory visibility, and a collaborative gateway that centrally connects carriers and shippers for operational coordination.
Operational scope concentrated on drayage corridors, carrier fleets, and customer warehouses serving the Port of Savannah, extending visibility into yard and dock activities. The implementation impacted logistics and operations functions, carrier management workflows, and inventory control processes by unifying event streams and document workflows under a single platform.
Governance and rollout emphasized collaborative onboarding of carriers and shippers and standardization of documentation flows, with process changes oriented around shared operational visibility. The Turvo Visibility Platform was selected to fuel rapid expansion by improving truck and documentation tracking and enabling inventory visibility at warehouses to support projected growth in 2022.
