A Report Development Management System built in SharePoint was used to control report development, with a formal report defects and issues resolution process for ongoing maintenance.
Security and governance workstreams established functional security roles, custom security roles and roles and data access assignment to enforce segregation of duties and report access controls. Applications support and maintenance and a business process improvement program were defined to manage operational handoff, report access and security strategy, design and development and continuous resolution of report defects and issues.
