The deployment focused on end-to-end accounts payable processing including approval workflows, invoice entry into Deltek CostPoint, payment initiation, auditing, and processing of expense reports for the United Kingdom and Poland, and it included participation in a new Investigator Site Payment System initiative.
Deltek CostPoint was configured to manage AP invoice capture, approval routing, invoice posting, payment processing, expense reporting, and month end financial reporting. Configuration emphasized accounts payable and expense management modules, with ledger posting controls and reporting constructs aligned to month end closing deadlines.
During the Investigator Site Payment System project Premier Research staff participated in process design, user acceptance testing, and training, coordinating transactional handoffs and payment instructions between the Investigator Site Payment System and Deltek CostPoint. Operational coverage included the finance and accounts payable teams and extended to clinical payments administration and regional expense governance in the United Kingdom and Poland.
Governance and workflow changes formalized approval and audit trails for AP and expense processing, instituted UAT-driven process revisions, and delivered role-based training to support month end close activities such as timely invoice posting and report preparation according to set deadlines.
