In 2017, PropertyGuru deployed Zoom as its Audio Video and Web Conferencing solution. The rollout supported onsite technical operations for more than 200 employees and remote access for over 500 users distributed across five countries.
Implementation work included Active Directory integration for creating and managing users and groups, plus the configuration of shared folders and files, and group policy and system policy to enforce workstation and security settings. Engineers installed and configured laptops, printers, telephones, and workstation hardware, and configured devices and software to provision end-user workstations across the organization. Zoom was instrumented alongside BlueJeans and MS Teams to provide executive audio and video for meetings, with Zoom configured for conferencing and meeting room audio video setups.
Operational integrations included support for Office 365 components such as SharePoint and Outlook, troubleshooting for MS Teams, and ticketing workflows managed through Jira and Service Desk. Support coverage extended to Windows, Linux, and Mac desktop environments, and teams used standard troubleshooting techniques to diagnose hardware and network issues. All conferencing and endpoint software was maintained under inventory and licensing processes to ensure software was properly licensed and kept up to date.
Day to day governance centered on tier 1 and tier 2 support resolution, responding to end-user requests and guiding users through basic troubleshooting steps. The implementation emphasized operational readiness and multi-platform desktop support rather than architectural transformation outcomes.
