Deployment architecture leveraged the holding company’s move to IAAS and PAAS for its datacenter, with Temenos T24 provisioned on the consolidated virtual server estate that the IT organization reduced and optimized. The program used an on demand cloud DRC capability for disaster recovery coverage and operated within the corporate datacenter and branch connectivity footprint, extending operational coverage to all 24 branches. Governance of the Temenos T24 rollout aligned with the broader IT operating model the Head of IT instituted, including ITIL based service management for support teams, datacenter back charging to business units, and SLA driven corporate IT services. The implementation is recorded as successfully completed across the 24 Bank Sahabat Sampoerna branches, and it formed part of a wider portfolio of IT modernization efforts run by PT Sampoerna Strategic.

Governance and delivery were managed by the IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager who negotiated hardware and software purchases, directed the IT purchasing department, ran weekly status meetings and maintained staff development and project prioritization. Financial controls for the rollout included a $1M IT budget for development and consulting, a server migration project cost of $1.5M and a backup and disaster recovery program cost of $1.2M.
