Typical StrataSync capabilities were applied to maintain field instrument configurations, synchronize test results to a cloud repository, and enforce standardized test procedures, enabling automated fault location workflows and consistent test recordkeeping across field teams.
Integration work was performed with VIAVI field test instruments and the ONMSi monitoring platform, with TeleMedia managing deployment activities and site commissioning. Operational coverage targeted 5G backhaul fiber routes across XL Axiata's Indonesian backbone, impacting network operations and field technician activities by shifting diagnostic work from manual, site-by-site testing to remote monitoring and automated localization of fiber events.
Governance changes included centralizing test-data ownership and standardizing field-to-NOC workflows to support remote fault triage and technician dispatch. The engagement announced December 2021 explicitly aimed to improve fiber uptime and workforce productivity, using VIAVI StrataSync and ONMSi to create a unified Test Automation Platform and field instrumentation lifecycle management environment.
