In 2014 Pure Fiji implemented Americommerce to run its core eCommerce storefront and centralize online sales operations. The implementation targeted Pure Fiji's web and commerce functions managed by the company webmaster and internal operations staff in Fiji, aligning the Americommerce application with the companys consumer packaged goods retail workflows.
Americommerce was configured to support standard eCommerce functional modules, including catalog management, shopping cart and checkout workflows, customer account management, order management, promotions and pricing configuration, and basic inventory and shipping configuration. Configuration work emphasized administrative tooling and workflow automation for order processing and fulfillment to match Pure Fiji's product catalog and promotional cadence.
Selection and deployment were influenced by vendor support responsiveness, the webmaster Jan performing hands-on trials and ticket-based responsiveness tests across multiple platforms, and Americommerce providing the vendor support and hand-holding required during onboarding. The implementation scope focused on Pure Fiji Americommerce eCommerce operations, with configuration and support processes managed by the internal webmaster and the vendor support team through ticketing and account-level assistance.
Governance centered on a small-team rollout model led by the webmaster, with vendor ticketing and responsive support used as the primary escalation path during configuration and early operations. Americommerce delivered the documented support responsiveness that influenced selection and sustained the operational launch, enabling Pure Fiji to operationalize its eCommerce storefront without external systems integrator involvement.
