In 2016 Pure Formulas implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial platform. The Director of Technology led the project and coordinated off shore and in house development teams, managing requirements, prioritization and sprint delivery to align the application with retail operations and customer service workflows.
Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured with launch focused elements including custom forms, printed documents, mass updates, data imports and saved searches to support financial and operational reporting. The deployment emphasized configuration and automation typical of ERP Financial systems, with saved searches and document templates established for Customer Service and executive reporting.
Integrations executed during the implementation included Oracle NetSuite ERP integration with ChannelAdvisor for marketplace inventory and order orchestration, and with Live Ops for telephony and call center linkage. The Director of Technology also led integrations touching marketing systems, coordinating ESP setups for Listrak and IBM Watson Marketing Cloud and an integration between IBM Watson Marketing Cloud and Certona, extending operational coverage across Merchandising and Email Marketing.
Governance practices were established through formal requirements capture, QA in stage and production, and documentation targeted to Customer Service Representatives and senior executives. The team created tooling to streamline email production, an email builder used by the email marketing specialist which reduced email creation time from several hours to 30 minutes, and provided ongoing support for order and process questions to operational teams.
