In 2013, Qatar Cool implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial solution. The decision followed an analysis that compared upgrading Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10 to EBS R12 against moving to Oracle Fusion on the cloud, and Qatar Cool selected Oracle Fusion ERP together with Fusion HCM, Payroll and Taleo Suite based on business process fit and direct and indirect cost considerations.
The Oracle Cloud ERP deployment was delivered as a cloud-hosted Oracle Fusion implementation, with core financial management configured alongside integrated human capital and payroll capabilities. The implementation included Oracle Fusion ERP modules for finance, Fusion HCM for HR lifecycle management, Payroll for compensation processing, and Taleo Suite for talent acquisition, with Oracle Cloud ERP acting as the central ERP Financial system coordinating transactional finance and workforce data.
EvoSys served as the systems integrator and led the go live in collaboration with Oracle, and Qatar Cool participated in Oracle's Early Adopter program which provided additional vendor support during rollout. The programmatic governance emphasized vendor-led support and a cloud-first architecture decision, and the project explicitly replaced the on-premise Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10 environment with a unified Oracle Cloud ERP and Fusion applications landscape.

In 2013 Qatar Cool implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as part of a broader Oracle Fusion adoption, positioning Oracle Cloud HCM within its Core HR footprint for the company. The 2013 implementation was delivered in partnership with EvoSys and aligned with Oracle Early Adopter program participation, which provided enhanced vendor support during the go-live phase.
The implementation encompassed Oracle Fusion HCM core capabilities, payroll configuration and the Taleo talent management suite, delivered as an integrated Cloud HCM and ERP blueprint. Oracle Cloud HCM was configured to manage core employee records, organizational structures, payroll processing workflows and talent acquisition processes, reflecting standard Core HR functional workflows for an enterprise of Qatar Cools size.
Operationally the rollout unified HR, payroll and talent functions across Qatar Cool, impacting HR operations and payroll administration for the entire organization. The Cloud HCM deployment was positioned alongside Oracle Fusion ERP components, and Taleo was implemented to centralize recruiting and candidate management within the same Oracle cloud ecosystem.
EvoSys led the implementation and go-live execution for the ECEMEA first Fusion suite deployment, with Qatar Cool recognized in Oracles Early Adopter program which provided additional Oracle support during stabilization. At the time Qatar Cool was using Oracle EBS 11.5.10 and elected the Fusion Cloud path after evaluating upgrade versus cloud options, resulting in standardized HR workflows and a centralized Core HR platform under Oracle Cloud HCM.

In 2018, Qatar Cool implemented IBM Maximo CMMS to centralize maintenance, asset, and inventory operations across its district cooling network. The deployment used IBM Maximo CMMS as the core Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) platform spanning five operational plants and the operations and maintenance functions.
Configuration focused on core maintenance modules including asset registry, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, spare parts inventory control, and role-based reporting. The project also delivered an electronic permit-to-work capability, and the IBM Maximo CMMS configuration automated more than 92 reporters and 15 KPIs to streamline operational visibility and field execution.
Operational coverage included plant operations, maintenance teams, and on-site field staff across the five plants, with rollout activities that emphasized standardized work management processes and structured training for onboarding and workflow delegation. Integrations were implemented at the workflow level to unify asset and inventory records with maintenance planning and reporting, leveraging CMMS workflows to coordinate requests, approvals, and execution.
Governance changes accompanied the deployment, establishing standardized work management procedures, KPI monitoring, and role-based access to support compliance and operational oversight. Reported outcomes from the implementation include a reduction in permit-to-work process time from 144 minutes to 90 minutes and the institutionalization of standardized work management across operations.
