| Esteco | Legacy | Esteco Cardanit BPM | Process Mining | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Quin deployed Esteco Cardanit BPM to simplify IT business processes for a client in the IT services sector. The implementation leveraged the Process Mining capabilities of Esteco Cardanit BPM to surface process variants and decision bottlenecks across operational workflows. The engagement targeted procedural complexity driven by new regulations and rapid technology obsolescence, with a focus on making process and decision logic explicit and manageable.
The project used the product's Enterprise Architecture feature to codify data, application and infrastructure architectures alongside executable process models. Quin modeled workflows using BPMN and encoded decision logic with DMN within the Business Process Manager, enabling standardized process definitions, decision tables and simulation-ready workflow orchestration. Configuration activities emphasized process catalogs, model versioning and governance artifacts consistent with Process Mining and business process management practices.
Operational coverage concentrated on IT delivery, project execution and resource planning processes for the client company, prioritizing time and resource management across service delivery and support functions. Implementation emphasized canonical process models and decision artifacts as the primary source of truth, aligning process artifacts with enterprise architecture principles rather than building bespoke point-to-point integrations. The solution supported business functions including service delivery, project management and IT operations.
Governance and rollout followed analysis, process modeling, validation and staged deployment phases as described in Quin’s project documentation. Process ownership was assigned to business stakeholders and decision governance was formalized around DMN decision tables to enable ongoing maintenance of rules and policies. The engagement resulted in simplified IT processes and optimized time and resource management for the client company.
