In 2022, Raven Capital Management implemented S&P Global Investor Onboarding (ex IHS Markit Investor Onboarding). Raven Capital selected IHS Markit’s iLEVEL portfolio monitoring solution in the United States to centralize investment data, accelerate investor reporting, and improve operational efficiency and communications with limited partners.
The implementation paired S&P Global Investor Onboarding with iLEVEL to unify private markets portfolio data and client lifecycle processes. Functional capabilities deployed emphasized investor onboarding workflows, client lifecycle management, tax and KYC intake orchestration, and automated investor reporting feeds, with iLEVEL serving as the source of portfolio and performance records.
Operational coverage focused on investor relations, portfolio operations, compliance and finance at the small firm level, with configuration scaled to a 10 person professional services firm in the United States. Configuration work included standardized onboarding templates, data model alignment between portfolio and investor records, and workflow automation to support recurring LP communications and reporting cadence.
Governance established centralized data controls and process ownership within operations and compliance teams to govern onboarding, KYC, and tax processes.
