In 2010, Recreatie Noord-Holland implemented Exact Globe. Exact Globe was deployed as the organization’s ERP Financial system and Mitopics served as the SI/VAR implementation partner to support configuration and rollout efforts.
The implementation centered on core ERP Financial capabilities typical for Exact Globe, including general ledger control, accounts payable and receivable workflows, fixed asset accounting and statutory financial reporting. Exact Globe was configured to support functional designs and report requirements gathered by the internal information advisory function, and the application manager worked with the information advisor to maintain and tune system configuration.
Exact Globe was integrated operationally with Exact Synergy as part of the application footprint, with the information advisor explicitly tasked to work alongside the application manager on the optimal functioning of Exact Globe and Exact Synergy. The information advisor role included verifying and inventorying stakeholder needs, mapping reporting requirements, and coordinating ICT suppliers, which positioned Exact Globe as a central financial and administrative system across the primary site at Velsen-Zuid and occasional office locations in other recreation areas.
Governance and process workstreams were formalized through the information advisor role, a 36 hours a week position responsible for advising management, producing functional designs, and actively engaging privacy and security monitoring. The advisor’s remit included developing ICT strategy and policy aligned to organizational ambitions, testing policy for operational processes, and coordinating improvements with the application manager and external ICT suppliers.
The program was oriented toward further professionalization of Recreatie Noord-Holland’s financial and information operations, with Exact Globe and Exact Synergy forming the core ERP Financial and collaboration stack that the information advisor and application manager continue to operate and refine.
