In 2018 Red Planet Hotels selected IQware IQpms for Hotel Property Management across its Asian portfolio of 30 operating properties in Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. The vendor announcement described the deployment as focused on property management system capabilities, reservations and integrations to standardize front-office and reservations operations.
IQware IQpms was configured to address core Hotel Property Management functions including front-desk management, central reservations, rate and inventory controls and revenue-management workflows. Configuration work emphasized multi-property master data, room-type and rate plan consolidation, and operational templates to support consistent check-in, check-out and reservation processing across sites.
The implementation scope included integrations to reservation channels and revenue-management processes to unify booking flows and rate updates across the portfolio, and it targeted operational departments such as front office, reservations teams and revenue management. Deployment architecture supported a centralized approach to reservation handling while enabling property-level operational controls, aligning system workflows with the company's Asia region operating model.
Rollout governance was structured around a regionally phased deployment across Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines, with operational ownership assigned to corporate operations and revenue teams to coordinate property onboarding and configuration. The project was announced in the IQware press release as an IQware PMS selection and positioned to standardize PMS and reservations operations across the Red Planet Hotels estate.
