In 2022 Reda 1865 implemented Oracle Cloud EPM Profitability and Cost Management, aligning a cloud EPM solution to the company finance agenda with Reply Consulting as the implementation partner. The project was executed from Italy and explicitly targeted the finance and cost-accounting functions within the business.
The implementation focused on configuring Oracle Cloud EPM Profitability and Cost Management to automate data loading workflows and to manage detailed cost allocation models that produce product-level costing outputs. Functional capabilities implemented include automated reconciliations, multidimensional profitability analysis, and configuration of cost-allocation logic and allocation drivers to support product and channel profitability reporting.
Architecturally the deployment used Oracle Cloud EPM as a SaaS service with data ingestion pipelines into PCMCS from source finance and operational systems, and a dimensional model optimized for product and cost pool analysis. Reply Consulting led the technical configuration, data mapping, and orchestration of load processes to support faster operational close cycles and improved traceability across costing calculations.
Governance and operational scope concentrated on finance and cost-accounting teams in Italy, with process changes to reconciliation workflows and profitability reporting cadence. Outcomes stated by the project include automated reconciliations, improved traceability of cost allocations, accelerated operational close, and the delivery of multidimensional profitability analysis through Oracle Cloud EPM Profitability and Cost Management.
