The integration supported multi role access and site switching for franchise owners, catalog segmentation by salon and region, permissible substitutions based on brand rules, and larger transaction volumes with carts exceeding 100 line items. Payment flows were coordinated so ACH and credit card payments initiated in the Adobe Commerce portal reconcile against Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne invoicing records, and rebate and points redemptions are reflected in customer balances. Governance and rollout included user research, proto persona and journey mapping to redesign navigation and role based permissions for store managers and staff. Operational coverage targeted franchise operations, customer service, and finance users with workflows adjusted to route web orders into Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for processing and to push status updates back into the portal. The implementation materially shifted ordering activity back to self service channels, enabled centralized invoice payment capability within the commerce experience, and established an integrated finance and commerce architecture for ongoing digital commerce enhancements.
