| Ironclad | Legacy | Ironclad CLM | Contract Lifecycle Management | Content Management | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, Reonomy implemented Ironclad CLM to standardize and automate contracting across the company. The deployment was driven by Reonomy’s VP of Legal, Ezinne Okpo, and targeted immediate needs around order forms, redlines, approvals, and centralized contract access for Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and operations stakeholders.
The implementation used Ironclad CLM features including Workflow Designer to codify approval paths, template and version control to enforce standardized guardrails, and a full scale redline negotiation capability to handle iterative contracting. Reonomy also adopted Ironclad’s Dynamic Repository as the single source of truth, enabling searchable contract terms, tagging, and filtering to accelerate term lookup and reduce manual retrieval.
Reonomy executed the rollout in approximately two months during a company wide shift to remote work, with remote training led by the in house legal lead and support from Ironclad’s customer success resources. Operational coverage emphasized legal operations for a one person legal team, while extending practical self service workflows to Sales and Customer Success so contracting tasks no longer required direct legal intervention.
Governance and process changes centered on centralized templates, enforced signature and approval workflows, and tagging conventions in the dynamic repository to improve compliance and oversight. Reported outcomes included rapid user adoption, reduced time spent locating contract terms, and reclaimed legal capacity for higher priority initiatives.
