The implementation covered parking operations at multiple lots and the central finance function, aligning lot-level cash handling with centralized bookkeeping in Intuit QuickBooks Online.
Governance centered on standardized counting, deposit, and reconciliation procedures, and on maintaining organized company files and records to support auditability and continuity of accounting data. The implementation supported centralized print, seal, and mail operations for associate checks, and routine research and email escalation to appropriate staff for payroll exceptions.
Process governance emphasized reconciliation and validation steps prior to payroll transmission, documented workflows for garnishments and state final check compliance, and staff level responsibilities for exception handling. Republic Parking System staff helped to implement the new Optimum HRIS and maintained ongoing operational controls for payroll processing and distribution.
