In 2021, Reseau DEF deployed Microsoft Dynamics NAV CRM as its CRM to centralize sales and customer data across the group while launching the LOGTEK 4.0 modernization program. The manufacturing network, operating 12 production sites with 2,500 employees and 61 affiliated companies, paired the Microsoft Dynamics NAV CRM implementation with a Boomi integration platform to enable robust cross-system connectivity and scalable data flows.
The Microsoft Dynamics NAV CRM rollout focused on sales and customer data management capabilities, including real-time data synchronization, record activation, and consolidated customer profiles to support commercial teams. Configuration work emphasized secure synchronization, automated data exchange workflows, and CRM-aligned process templates to improve sales team access to up to date information and reduce manual data handling.
Integrations were a core technical requirement, Boomi was used to connect Microsoft Dynamics NAV CRM to enterprise systems such as Navision Microsoft Dynamics NAV, IFS, and the corporate data warehouse, and to interface CRM data with Mercure pricing software for the sales organization. The Boomi platform also replaced the aging EDI component Dex for LOGTEK connectivity and orchestrated data exchange between Cegid ERP and IFS to automate customer order creation, delivering low latency and the capacity to handle large data volumes across multiple companies.
Governance and operational scope centralized around integration-led data management, with cross-functional ownership between IT, integration teams, and sales operations to standardize workflows and data models. Outcomes reported by the company included simplified processes, reduced manual work, more reliable synchronized data, and improved decision making through near real time access to CRM information, while Boomi provided a platform for ongoing updates and scalability across the organization.
