In 2022, Retail Food Group implemented Task Online Ordering as its Online Food Ordering System. Task Software was selected to deploy Task Online Ordering and additional Task modules across multiple RFG brands including Crust and Pizza Capers to support ecommerce growth in Australia.
The implementation of Task Online Ordering focused on core online ordering workflows, menu management, order capture and payment routing consistent with Online Food Ordering System capabilities. Task Online Ordering was configured alongside other Task modules to provide a unified front end for consumer ordering and a consolidated back end for order orchestration and enterprise reporting.
Integrations explicitly included point of sale integrations and enterprise reporting integrations to synchronize order and sales data across store POS and centralized analytics systems. The deployment covered multiple brands within the group and targeted business functions for ecommerce, POS operations and centralized analytics, with rollout activity coordinated to standardize ordering and reporting across participating brands.
