In 2020 Ride Designs implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its core ERP Financial system, electing a cloud deployment to align with the companys growth and IT strategy. The decision followed a structured selection process led by the operations manager and IT manager, which incorporated feedback from end users and executive requirements to ensure the solution would support manufacturing scale, inventory control, and order management.
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation centralized finance, inventory, manufacturing, purchasing, and order-to-cash workflows. Functional modules and capabilities configured included material requirements planning MRP, inventory control, purchasing and order management, invoicing automation, and integration readiness for configure price quote capabilities. ArcherPoint implemented Business Central and configured the system to reduce manual data entry and streamline manufacturing and customer service workflows.
Integrations were explicitly delivered for a CPQ add-on from e-Con/Experlogix and for shipping provider connectivity to UPS and FedEx, enabling automated order shipment processing and tighter order to fulfillment orchestration. The deployment architecture was cloud native, with ArcherPoint providing implementation services, in-house development for customizations, and end user training to support adoption across operations, manufacturing, customer service, and finance departments.
Governance and rollout emphasized consultative implementation practices, with cross-functional input from operations and IT to shape configuration, testing, and user onboarding. Outcomes reported by Ride Designs included elimination of duplicate data entry, a 50 percent reduction in data entry time, elimination of manual invoicing tasks, and increased effectiveness in manufacturing, inventory, and purchasing. ArcherPoints delivery positioned Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as the backbone application supporting Ride Designs ongoing order processing, service, and support workflows.
