| Honeywell International | Legacy | Honeywell Historian | Data Historian | PaaS | Andritz | 2017 | 2018 | In 2017, Riikinvoima implemented Honeywell Historian at its Leppävirta waste-to-energy plant in Finland. The deployment paired Honeywell Experion control-room technology with Uniformance PHD, the Honeywell Historian solution, to centralize operations and raise operator situational awareness, with Honeywell selected as the technology supplier and Andritz engaged in procurement and initial integration activities. Honeywell Historian is documented here as a Data Historian implementation supporting time series capture and archival of process data across the plant control domain. The implementation architecture centralized historian data flows into a single control-room environment where Uniformance PHD aggregated process signals from Experion for trend visualization, event and alarm correlation, and operational dashboards. The project scope covered operations and maintenance functions at the Leppävirta site, with configuration focused on historian collection, real time visualization for operators, and access to historical process data to support earlier detection of maintenance needs. Rollout and governance were coordinated by Andritz together with Honeywell as the supplier, and the deployment produced increased operational consistency and efficiency and enabled earlier detection of maintenance needs as part of normal plant operations. |
