Constellation Software Inc. Legacy CSI Harris Amazing Charts Practice Management (formerly CareTracker) Medical Practice Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2006 2007
In 2006 Rios Family Medicine Clinic implemented CSI Harris Amazing Charts Practice Management, formerly CareTracker, as its Medical Practice Management solution. The deployment served a single-site ambulatory practice environment supporting combined front desk and clinical workflows for a 50-employee primary care clinic. CSI Harris Amazing Charts Practice Management was configured to support core Medical Practice Management functions including patient scheduling, registration, electronic charting and clinical documentation, order entry and basic practice billing workflows. The implementation incorporated ICD 9 and CPT coding support for laboratory processing and routine billing tasks, aligning clinical documentation with administrative claims workflows. Operational use spanned front-office reception, back-office administration and clinical staff duties, with Certified Medical Assistants processing patients using Amazing Charts for point of care documentation and clerical tasks. The clinic’s patient population was approximately 85 percent Hispanic, and staff responsibilities recorded in system workflows included specimen preparation for collections, phlebotomy and injection documentation, and assisting the physician during minor procedures and emergency situations. Governance focused on role-aligned responsibilities and cross-training, enabling clinical staff to perform administrative functions within configured user roles in the practice management application. Standardized workflows for patient intake, specimen handling and coding were documented during rollout to maintain consistency between clinical procedures and the Medical Practice Management system.
