In 2016, RO Group implemented Infor SunSystems to manage its core accounting and treasury processes. The Infor SunSystems ERP Financial deployment supported daily bank postings, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and BACS and cheque payment runs.
Functional configuration concentrated on cash management, general ledger postings and transaction processing. Workflows were built to deliver daily batch summary sheets from posting reports, prepare CIS files, produce VAT returns and compile year-end audit files while maintaining SUN accounting records. The finance process included daily processing and payment of accounts payable and receivable transactions and preparation of inter-company interest schedules.
Operational integrations explicitly included employee expense processing on Concur and payment execution with UK banks HSBC, NatWest and Barclays using BACS and cheque rails. Day-to-day bank transfers, reconciliations and phone inquiries were handled through the Infor SunSystems environment, and reconciliation discrepancies were resolved in a timely manner. These integrations positioned Infor SunSystems as the central system for RO Group payments, expense flows and reconciliations.
Governance was operationalized through daily reconciliations, routine batch summarization and formal VAT and CIS submission processes, with year-end audit file preparation defined as a close activity.
